John Brzeski
John is a dedicated and accomplished Engineering Geologist with over 20 years of professional experience, including natural hazard assessment, management, and mitigation. John holds a bachelor’s degree in applied Geology and a Master’s in Geohazard Assessment from the UK. With extensive experience in both field investigations and data management and analysis, John has become well-versed in evaluating the geological hazards and proposing appropriate mitigation and management measures tailored to specific environmental conditions and regulatory requirements.
Specialising in regulatory response, John has worked closely with local and regional regulatory agencies to aid in complying with existing legislation and regulations and to develop strategies, planning responses and guidelines as hazard management tools.
Throughout his/her career, John has been part of, and led, numerous multi-disciplinary teams on projects involving hazard evaluations for liquefaction, landslides, soft soils, flooding, and geothermal issues. His comprehensive assessments have been vital in shaping land-use policies, local/regional/national guidance, and construction projects, safeguarding communities and contributing to their sustainable development.
